Workspace

Any process that you set up in the FME Workbench can be saved as a Workspace. A workspace is a definition of the translation and its Workbench layout and is saved as a .FMW file.

The file is essentially a Mapping File which defines the translation, with an XML header that describes the translation layout within Workbench.

A workspace can be edited or run within FME Workbench, or run from the command line or FME Universal Translator.
