Wintec TK1 Reader
From Fmepedia
Q: What's the use of it?
A: The TK1 format is Wintecs raw data format for some of their GPS loggers like Wintec WBT-201 (also known as G-Rays 2).
Normally you export your GPS tracks using Wintecs Time Machine X software.
If you own a Mac or you run Linux on your PC, Steffen Sieberts Wintec Tools (http://www.steffensiebert.de/soft/python/wintec_tools.html) may probably your choice to get the track logs out of your GPS and to store them as *.tk1.
I used Steffens Wintec Tools, version 1.0 for writing a FME TK1 reader using -you guess it- pyfme, respectively the PythonCreator transformer.
Q: What do I need?
A: All you need is the tk1reader.zip (http://www.fmepedia.com/attachments//Wintec_TK1_Reader/tk1reader.zip) ZIP from the bottom of this page and a *.tk1 file (a sample file is also provided in the ZIP).
Q: What does the Workbench do?
A: The Workbench reads the GPS log and converts any trackpoint into a 3D point feature.
Beware of the snake! : )
