The SidedBufferer was born out of a necessity. For a certain project, buffers needed to be created around line objects. However, the size of the buffer had to be different on either side. So a custom transformer was created to make this possible.

When using the SidedBufferer, you will see 4 parameters:

• Left Buffer Amount - Size of the buffer to the left of the feature, can be set as a fixed value or taken from an attribute.
• Right Buffer Amount - Size of the buffer to the right of the feature, can be set as a fixed value or taken from an attribute.
• Min Buffer Width - Needs to be set lower than the minimum buffer width
• Max Buffer Width - Needs to be set higher than the maximum buffer width

The min and max buffer width control parameters inside the custom transformer, it is absolutely vital that they are set to the correct values.
