Increasing demand for access to spatial data is matched by the need to ensure that data security remains intact. FME Server makes it possible for you to freely share your spatial data with authorized users while preventing unauthorized access. If you choose to enable security when installing FME Server 2010, as an administrator you can add users, create roles and assign roles to resources. FME Server security is equipped to be used either stand-alone or as an integrated part of an existing infrastructure. For example, FME Server is equipped to integrate security directly from an organization’s own Microsoft Active Directory framework using an LDAP Login Module.
