The transformer creates prisms, 3D-features with an n-sided polygonal base, a translated copy, and n faces joining corresponding sides.

The prism is defined by x, y and z of the center of the base, radius of the circumcircle, number of edges of the base (use 0 for the closest approximation of a cylinder), height, and three rotation angles.

Download PrismCreator.fmx along with the workspace using it. The example writes to PDF format. In order to see the output in 3D, you have to download and install the latest Adobe Reader (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html).
