GeoTIFF is a FME Format. Its FME format keyword is GEOTIFF

GeoTIFF is a version of the TIFF raster format with georeferencing information in the header. FME is not capable of reading TIFF files with the georeferencing information stored in a separate reference file (commonly a .tfw world file). Many other applications, such as Photoshop, are not capable of (properly) reading GeoTIFF files. In order to turn a TIFF + tfw into a GeoTIFF or vice versa, you can use GeoTiffExaminer, a free tool by Mentor Software (http://www.mentorsoftwareinc.com/freebie/free0699.htm).
