Email Configuration

FME Server has a number of services that can send out email messages when a translation completes. FME Server must be configured to connect to and use an SMTP host in order to send emails. Here are the settings for publicly available SMTP hosts. You can enter these details at installation time or see the 'Configuring E-mail Notification for the FME Server Services' section in Chapter 6 of the FME Server Administrator's guide to configure it post-installation.

Google Mail

  • SMTP mail host: smtp.gmail.com
  • SMTP port: 465
  • Account: <your gmail email address>
  • Password: <your gmail password>
