Can I use dual-monitors with FME - Are there any advantages or disadvantages working this way
From Fmepedia
Q) Can I use dual-monitors with FME? Are there any advantages or disadvantages working this way?
A) Absolutely: even users with a triple-screen setup are not unheard of.
For detailed Workbench use a great way of freeing up view space to work with larger workspaces is to undock your navigator, feature/attribute connection and log windows and move them onto the other monitor. Another bonus is that you can shift the Universal Viewer to the other monitor to examine your data whilst you create a workspace to process it.
One known issue with using dual monitors is that your primary monitor should preferably be to the right hand side. If the primary monitor is to the left then toolbars within the FME GUI are sometimes scattered across the screen (shouldn't apply to 2006-GB or newer where toolbars are locked down)
