Can I use a DEC Alpha machine for a floating license server

A) No. You can use FME on such a machine, but you can't use one as an FME Floating License server.

There is currently not enough demand to justify us paying the licensing fee to enable floating licenses. It is permissible to use a Windows PC as a floating license server for a DEC Alpha FME installation.
