This transformer calculates an azimuth of input lines. For two-vertex line it is a true azimuth, for polylines it returns an average azimuth based on the coordinates of the the first and the last vertices. Use Chopper transformer with Maximum vertices set to 2 for getting azimuth for each polyline segment or try PolylineAnalyzer, which creates a complete report about all polyline components.

NB: Use of the AzimuthCalculator also requires the installation of the LoopFilter.
