As a result of irresponsible experiments on a newest WIMP collider, the eggheads broke a hole into a parallel four dimensional universe, which intersected our universe with three circle-shaped areas or, how people called them, Zones. Weird things happen there (see D. Bagh, "Memoirs of the survivor", 2016). They were called Phobos, Deimos and Mimas. The United States were affected most.

In order to distribute financial aid, Federal government wanted to know the following:

  • Which states were affected by the experiment - the total number, and the list of states in each zone
  • States affected most and least by each zone
  • The total area affected in each state.
  • Percentage of the area affected from the total state area (when it was less than 10%, states had to deal with the problem with their budgets)
  • Distribution of population between affected and not affected areas (considering population density is constant over each state).

Luckily, Government purchased several FME licences with AreaOnAreaOverlayAnalyzer.
