2DGridReplacer is a Workbench Transformer.

The 2DGridReplacer replaces a feature or group of features (governed through the Group By option) with a 2-dimensional grid that covers at least the bounding box. The size of the grid cells can be set through the Column Width and Row Height parameters. The grid type can be set to either polygons or points.
